Other cat owners: do your pets hate having their fur combed or brushed? My two tabbies Daria and Nikita, are shedding more than usual; and i've been combing them for a couple minutes on alternate days, but they scamper away and won't hold still to be combed. I'm trying to speak in a soothing manner to them as well.

Kitties is random creatures, and mine were agggravating me as i was fixing supper. I had the nerve to feed them before i put my fish and french fries in the oven. Not really happy about the cats still pissing on my lovely soft green bathroom mat but it is better than their urinating on my bed. At least the mat can be taken to the Laundromat up the block.
